Some of it helps for a day or two. Then you're right back where you started.
The afternoon crash hits and you're reaching for chocolate just to get through. You lie awake at night even though you're exhausted. Your digestive system is unpredictable. You feel tense all the time.
What may be happening:
Your body has a stress response system. It's designed to activate in bursts when you need it (deadlines, challenges, busy days), then return to regulation (restoration, repair, digestion).
That's normal. That's how you're supposed to work.
The problem may be getting stuck.
Your body might be stuck in "on" mode. It may keep responding as if there's ongoing pressure, even when you're trying to rest.
When this happens:
Your energy crashes: Your body may be trying to force you to stop, but you push through anyway.
You can't sleep: You're exhausted but your mind won't let you rest. When you finally fall asleep, you wake at 2am and can't get back to sleep.
Your digestion suffers: Your body can't digest properly when stuck in stress mode. Optimal digestion and nutrient absorption occurs when you're regulated.
You reach for sugar and caffeine: Your body may be desperately seeking quick energy to keep going.
Your body holds tension: Your shoulders are up around your ears, your jaw is clenched, you grind your teeth at night.

What You'll Get
This isn't another program telling you to "just relax."
This is understanding what's actually happening in your body and having practical tools to use.
Four 60-minute sessions:
β 10 minutes: Understanding your stress response (in plain language)
β 10 minutes: Gentle movement (simple, anyone can do it)
β 40 minutes: Supported yin yoga (you're being held by props, not trying to be flexible)
By week four, you'll begin to:
β Understand why you feel the way you do
β Recognise what different states feel like in your body
β Have four simple tools you can actually use
β Know what to do when you notice what's happening
Why You Feel This Way
You'll learn the different ways your body responds to stress and how it's designed to move between states. You'll practice simple movements to actually feel these states in your body.
You'll leave with: A practice to use in everyday life.
What Ease Actually Feels Like
You'll learn to recognise when your body is at ease versus activated. You'll practice movements that may help your body shift toward ease.
You'll leave with: A tool to help you find regulation when you need it.
When You're Wired and Can't Turn Off
You'll learn to recognise that anxious, can't settle, running on high alert feeling. You'll practice movements for when you're wired but need to function.
You'll leave with: A tool for when you're activated or lying awake at 2am.
When You're Running on Empty
You'll learn to recognise when you've hit the wall and everything feels too hard. You'll practice movements that may help when you're feeling flat.
You'll leave with: A tool for when you need gentle support to reconnect.
